Issue 21

Happy New Year to all our readers and to those who spent the holidays far from home, welcome back. Apologies for the lateness of this newsletter but we thought that we would allow you all to get settled into the New Year before bombarding you with our latest news.

We hope that as we start our 3rd full year of trading that you are as excited as we are to see what treats we are able to bring for you to purchase and enjoy. As you know, we don’t stand still for long and if you pause to catch your breath for too long you might miss that wonderful picture that you had your eye on when you saw it recently.

We are of course kicking things off with a show. Our Maîtres de l’Affiche and French Art Deco pochoir prints are truly beautiful and very reasonably priced indeed. We are showcasing some iconic imagery alongside some prints, which are exquisite in their detailing. The hand-colouring of the pochoir makes each print almost unique and the joyous and often familiar images of the Maîtres de l’Affiche are worthy enough to adorn any wall.

Prices start from as little as £250 so don’t delay, drop in now and find that perfect something before someone else does!

Our room of small things has proven to be very popular already and it is our intention to keep it well-stocked with a nice variety of keenly priced wood cuts, engravings, lithographs and etchings by a variety of well-known artists.

Pot-wise the year ahead will see us offer our pot-lovers ample opportunity to increase their collections with some stunning pieces. Once again, our sister gallery has a fine schedule of pot shows so we will be able to refresh all our stock over the course of the year. We will keep you posted on what comes in and when so that you don’t miss out.

We will keep this first newsletter of the year short and sweet with more details to follow in February but to give you an early heads up, we will have a featured artist in February – Jenny Grevatte – as well as afeatured potter – Phil Rogers. Furthermore, March brings our Graham Sutherland show so there is much to look forward to.

As always we are here for you to quiz and consult with and if you can’t see what you want hanging on our walls or sitting on our shelves then just ask because there is a good possibility that we can bring it in for you.
